I didn’t put mine and Paddy’s marriage in this situation — I want to make that clear, says Christine McGuinness

She wrote: “With regard to the press…

“There’s only one thing I want to make clear now… I didn’t put us in this situation.”

Christine also shared a quote that read, “This year I met the most broken version of me, but also the strongest.”

It comes after we shared how Christine was hurt by Paddy’s failure to publicly support her appearance on ITV show The Games.

Last month Paddy took a ten day break in Portugal with friends.

When he returned, Christine flew with friends to Croatia for five days.

Among them was ex-footballer Chelcee Grimes, 30, whom Christine called her BFF (best friend forever).

They came close to The Games, a sporting challenge from 12 celebrities.

In an interview, she called the break “life-changing,” but said she missed her and Paddy’s three children.

When Christine returned, Paddy left to film BBC’s A Question of Sport.

Snaps emerged last week showing that he had removed a tattoo on a wedding finger in tribute to Christine.

But it was unclear whether the photos were flipped by mirror mode on a phone camera.
