Here’s a small sample of the comments he shared about each of his five finalists.

About what he remembers from his Penn State official: “Just the family environment. Just around everyone – the players, the staff, the people around campus – you could see that everyone is just one big family and everyone cares about each other.” gives and loves each other. That stood out.”

About the other defensive linemen in Notre Dame’s top-ranked 2023 class: “They bring a lot of good guys. They’re all tough. I hear a lot from them too. It would be good to come in and play with them. We also all come in the same class. It would definitely be fun to play with them. I definitely got a lot of recruiting from them too.”

Of his biggest lessons from talking to the players and coaches at Michigan: “Just developing. Keep building on what they started. They have a great history in football. They came just after winning the Big Ten, so you can see they are all trending high and trying to build from there.”

On what stood out about his visit to Maryland: “I would say how their program really builds up. You could see that. Every season they build up and get more and more successful. Starting with (head) coach (Mike) Locksley, he does a great job with that program. It’s just seeing that I can stay at home and continue building with the program, it’s definitely a good thing to do.”

On the biggest takeaways from his visit to the state of Ohio: “For me it was just seeing all the opportunities. Of course on the field being developed by a great defensive coach. But also seeing the opportunities off the field in education “That really said I didn’t know much about it before. So it struck me to go out and see all those opportunities ahead of me.”

As of Wednesday night, all six Rivals FutureCast predictions had predicted Moore to pick the state of Ohio. The Buckeyes currently have 16 pledges in their 2023 class, which is ranked #2 in the country.
